Picture book stories to act out? Dramatic stories?
For my debate class we have this storytelling unit.( this is debate and FOREENSCICS) and everyone has to basically read a story book. BUt when i mean read they have to use diffrent voices, kinda act it out, move around, facial tones, etc.
Soo im looking for a really drmatic picture story book to act out. Doesn’t have to be a kindergarten thing. It can be mature. I was going to do Macbeth but that’s like really long and i have to do it within 5-8 minutes.
What about the Three Little Pigs (is that what that’s called)? Not Macbeth dramatic, but different voices to do and tones–scared, threatening, etc. Another fun one is the flip side of that story, “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs” by A.Wolf, which is the story from the misunderstood wolf POV. There you could get indignant, sheepish, angry, etc.
