When I Start up The Game, the Screen goes blank, and then returns to desktop, why?
I have a Windows XP laptop, and I just purchased Vampire Bloodlines: The Masquerade. I have met the minimum requirements, and most of the reccomended, and have installed it to the computer. My question is why when I start this program up, does it lead to the black screen, then after about 5-10 seconds, it goes back to the desktop. I have ran both the safe and unsafe modes, checked the auto installer for upgrades, and checked if the gam woked on my friends computer. It worked on his, but mine isn’t running. Could it be with some requirement I actually do need that is reccomended? Thanks for the help.
sure you have a real video card, not a intergrated one?
Most laptops have intergrated graphics cards.
intergrated graphics cards won’t run some games, even if they meet the “minumum requirements”
