The key to any successful WoW Hunter Leveling Spec is to start off with the proper race. This is especially true on the Alliance side where the racial choices are diverse enough that picking a lesser one could make leveling harder down the line. Here are some tips to consider when choosing the race for your Alliance hunter leveling build.
The top three alliance races to consider for your WoW Hunter Leveling Spec are the Dwarf, the Night Elf, and the Draenei. The dwarf is a popular choice for those hunters who favor guns since the dwarf has gun specialization which increases gun skills by +5. While a nice bonus, this isn’t a game breaker. The dwarf’s other attributes, stoneform, find treasure, and frost resistance are nice to have but by no means do they make the dwarf the best race for an alliance hunter.
If you are looking at a Night Elf as the race for your WoW Hunter Leveling Spec, then you are likely being seduced by shadow meld which allows the player to become invisible when not in combat or moving. While this is great for resting and recovering, it doesn’t cover your pet who can still get unwanted attention while you are trying to get back to full strength. The rest of the Night Elf’s racial bonuses aren’t that great and certainly don’t make it a strong race to choose to play a hunter with.
The final race to consider for an Alliance WoW Hunter Leveling Spec is the Draenei. Two talents make this the best race to choose for a hunter build. First, Gift of the Narru provides the hunter with a heal, either for himself or a pet. This reduces downtime and makes leveling faster. While Heroic Presence doesn’t seem that great, anything that boosts the chance to hit also increases the number of attacks that land. These two traits make the Draenei the optimal race to choose for an Alliance Hunter build.

“The Brave One” Awesome movie, anyone seen it yet? -spoilers?
Just saw “The Brave One”, and it was awesome.
Jodie Foster is great.
I love how she doesn’t even seem to know how she herself feels about this vigilante role she’s in, but everyone else has an opinion. And even when she tries to just step in and help and not kill the one thug, she’s forced to.
Totally didn’t see the cops actions coming, and everyone in my theater clapped and cheered when she finished off the last thug.
The character of the neighbor alone was very compelling.
I also liked the comic book superhero feeling you got, how she was just a regular person who no one knew was doing these heroic things.
Anyway just really enjoyed this movie and wanted to know what anyone else thought. I know it just came out but anyone seen it yet?
I just saw THE BRAVE ONE, too, and agree with you completely! I was telling friends about how you can see every complex emotion on her face, in her eyes! No one else saw the cop’s actions coming either but I thought the cop was going to shoot the guy and then do the “put Jodie’s gun in HIS hands so I did in self-defense” thing but didn’t see him asking her to shoot him. (Laughed big time when he said “Shoot me anywhere but in the heart.”)_
Only thing that troubled me is that Jodie and her boyfriend were BAD dog owners. I’d never play fetch in a public park like that but, fortunately, I have a backyard. I also don’t let my dog run loose or off the leash NOT BECAUSE IT’S THE LAW but because I don’t want my dog hurt. It’s all about protecting the dog but I was thrilled that she got her dog back at the end.
Great movie. BRILLIANT performance by Ms. Foster! She was incredible.
