Disney characters?

Which one is your favorite and why do you like it? I personally love Donald Duck. My dad’s a huge fan of him, and he ended up collecting all of the comic books written by Carl Barks. Uncle $crooge has a personality that tops all others, though. If you ever get ahold of ‘the life and times of Scrooge McDuck’ by Don Rosa, they are really good too.

Goofy.

Because he’s just sooo,… damned goofy!

Seriously though, I have the “Complete Goofy” collection on DVD and he’s just plain hilarious from his inept attempts at everyday life. The “how to” shows are the best ones where the narrator uses Goofy as the example of your “typical” person and demonstrates the proper ways to ski, play football, work out, etc…

The classics never die.

Disney Movietoons Presents: Ducktales The Movie: Treasure Of The Lost Lamp [VHS]

Another of Disney’s efforts to create a quickie animated feature film out of one of its daily TV shows, this one plays like a low-rent reworking of Aladdin. Still, with Scrooge McDuck (voiced by Alan Young) and nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, there’s fun to be had. And that includes the genie (voiced by comic Rip Taylor) and the villains voiced by Christopher Lloyd and Richard Libertini. The plot …

Ducktales (1987) marked the Walt Disney Studio’s entry into the afternoon syndicated-cartoon market. The series was loosely based on the imaginative adventure stories Carl Barks created for the Disney comic books, featuring Donald Duck, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and Uncle Scrooge McDuck, a miser who possessed “five cubic acres of money.” This three-disc set begins with episode #6, “Send …
